Installing sheet metal duct followed by on-site lagging takes twice as long, compared to ALP Pre-Insulated Ducting. You can further halve your installation time with longer ALP duct lengths of up to 4M compared to the shorter metal ducting of 1.4M.
Furthermore, there are reduced OH&S risks using lightweight duct that is easier to carry with less labour and faster installation.

ALP Ducting is a slimmer ducting which allows more space for your installation. From 50mm – 200mm saving in ceiling space due to ALP Pre-Insulated duct is half thickness of fibre type insulations
ALP Ducting places reduced load on structures, an important consideration when refurbishing older buildings. ALP duct is approximately 80-85% less in weight compared to insulated sheet metal duct.
